Saibokukai
A philosophy doesn’t end with words. For example, a scroll of calligraphy displayed in the president’s office speaks quietly to the hearts of employees.
A single, powerful, dignified character written in ink symbolizes the company’s aspirations and fosters culture.
Saibokukai Co., Ltd. adds modern sensibility and color to the traditional Japanese art of calligraphy to create calligraphy art that gives shape to a company’s “aspirations.”
From masterpieces that enhance a space with their profound presence,to interior pieces that beautifully depict your company’s philosophy or mission statement,to calligraphy performances that can be used for events and overseas branding.
Communicate through calligraphy.
Captivate through calligraphy.
Why not deliver the “soul” of your company to the world with Saibokukai’s calligraphy art?

Japanese Calligraphy Live Performance

At the Nara Chamber of Commerce and Industry Youth Division General Meeting
Creating Unity Through a Calligraphy Performance
At the Nara Chamber of Commerce and Industry Youth Division General Meeting, Saibokukai delivered a live calligraphy
performance, creating a large-scale artwork on-site.
With dynamic yet graceful brushstrokes, we expressed the
meeting’s theme and sentiments through the art of calligraphy.
Sharing the live moment of creation helped elevate participants’
motivation and foster a sense of unity, earning high praise from
attendees.
We supported the event with rehearsals, sound checks, and pre-
event coordination with the host and emcee to ensure a smooth
performance.
Our calligraphy performances are the perfect centerpiece for
chamber of commerce gatherings, organizational anniversaries,
ceremonies, and corporate events—a single brushstroke that
symbolizes the spirit of the occasion.
We also welcome opportunities to feature these works in your

Transforming Japanese Calligraphy into
Brand Logos

Shaping Trust and Warmth Through Calligraphy
Ashiya Tax Office – Calligraphy Logo Case Study
Located in the sophisticated city of Ashiya, Hyogo, Ashiya Tax Office exudes an atmosphere of elegance and approachability. We captured these qualities in their new calligraphy logo, featuring the character for “Tax” (税).
The left side of the character is drawn with sharp, clean lines to express intelligence and trustworthiness, while the right side flows with softer strokes, reflecting the friendly and gentle demeanor of the office. Hidden within the character is also the symbol for “Harmony” (和), representing the balance and connection between the office and its clients.
Even in typically formal tax consultations, the logo helps create an environment where clients feel at ease and smile naturally.
This bespoke calligraphy logo condenses the essence of the office into a single character—perfect for professionals seeking to enhance their brand image with both credibility and approachability.

Restaurant “Musubi” — Handwritten Store Logo
For the grand opening of the new restaurant “Musubi,” we created and delivered a custom calligraphy logo.
The logo, created with the strength and warmth unique to brush calligraphy, seamlessly complements the restaurant’s traditional Japanese ambiance while elevating the brand’s presence with its distinguished character.
The original artwork was crafted on traditional Japanese washi paper with sumi ink, then digitized into a high-resolution format suitable for store signage and various promotional tools.
We also offer logo creation services that become the cornerstone of spatial branding for restaurants, hotels, and other establishments.
